When Roxy came out from the back, I explained the situation and showed her my receipt and asked if I could just exchange two defective pairs of Crocs that were not worn. She shook her head no and gave me a dumb look. She continued to say she couldn't do anything, and then I became extremely irritable and told her I work retail and understand but that it's still right to take care of the customer. I did not ask for a return, only an exchange for a definite defective and unworn item. Roxy was so rude and snapped back at me that if I work retail then I should know that this is unacceptable. Once her manager said it was okay, she rudely threw the old ones behind her and put the new Crocs into my bag.
First of all, the customer should be your first priority, especially when that customer has never shopped at a Crocs store until now. Second, if you need a manager's approval anyway, then why are you snapping at me that I can't do an EXCHANGE!? This is your policy... "Product Warranty. Crocs are covered by a 30 day warranty. Upon return of defective merchandise to the proper address, it will be inspected, evaluated, replaced, returned or credited in a timely manner." My purchase was 7 days prior to this situation and I had the receipt. I appreciate that the exchange was finally taken care of, but it should never had turned into this kind of situation, and your associate Roxy's attitude sucks. She doesn't care about your customer's satisfaction.
